Edinburgh Sherwood Guest House offers 4 star quality family run
accommodation in the Newington area of Edinburgh - the capital of Scotland, where  our guests can enjoy the benefits of our double glazed and centrally heated rooms, many of which have full fridge & microwave in addition to the normal tea/coffee making facilities.We have run the Sherwood since 1994 and apart from the odd 'awkward' guest, we have had a happy relationship with over 99.9% of all who have stayed with us. The last few times we have entertained groups of guests we have suffered the most unpleasant experiences since taking over the guest house, and our rooms and furniture have suffered extensive damage. From today, 25th February 2007, we will ask that any groups staying with us, pay for the duration of their stay up front and also to pay a £100.00 per room damages deposit. This will obviously be refunded in the event of a trouble free stay. This is not a step we take lightly as we like all our guests to feel welcome in our home from the outset, but we cannot bear the costs of refurbishment and loss of earnings that our last 2 groups left us with. We do not mean to pre judge any group of friends coming to stay at the same time and we honestly do try our best to accommodate everyone, and cater to their needs. If you want to make a group booking we hope you can accept the above terms.
